Tate Justesen: Attorney & Associate Development Director
Tate was born and raised in rural Oregon: he has deep roots in agriculture and an appreciation for the value and use of natural resources, having grown up on a wheat and cattle ranch. Tate received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University, then, after a stint working back on the family ranch, attended Lewis & Clark Law School, where he earned a Certificate in Natural Resources/Environmental Law. Tate was one of WRLC’s first law clerks. Tate is admitted to practice law in Oregon, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
Aaron Bruner: Attorney
Aaron Bruner focuses his practice on natural resources law with an emphasis on public lands issues and litigation. Aaron has varied experience in the different stages of litigation, including with complaints, intervention, and summary judgment motions. He also assists clients in a range of matters, including on regulatory issues, administrative appeals, and preparing comments on various agency actions affecting natural resource users – including issues pertaining to endangered species, grazing, timber management, and water quality. Aaron graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School, with a Certificate in Natural Resources/Environmental Law. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
