Join us virtually on March 30, 2022!
While we had hoped to move forward with a “normal” meeting in the new year, it has become clear that significant portions of the typical legislative conference agenda would be impossible to carry out due to local COVID restrictions. Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person portion of the 2022 Legislative Conference in Washington, DC.
BUT…
Don’t erase the days from your calendar just yet! We have crafted an exciting day of virtual meetings with members of Congress, agency staff, partner groups, and more!
Join us on Wednesday, March 30 for half a day of interactive sessions and policy briefings with the BLM, Forest Service, Congressional Western Caucuses, and more.
Curious to see what’s on the agenda? Check your inbox soon for a full list of our Congressional speakers, agency personnel, and more!
Wait, wait – there’s more!
To prevent you from melting into your chair, we’ve kept the agenda short to keep you coming back for more! During March and April, PLC will host issue-specific policy roundtables to do a deep dive into some of the more challenging issues facing public lands ranchers: recreation partnerships, recruitment and retention of range and forest professionals, grazing as conservation, and more.
We know some of you may want to make a trip to Washington this year when COVID restrictions lift. If you make the trek east, please reach out to Kaitlynn and we are happy to make your time in Washington welcoming, productive, and just a little bit of fun, too.
